Oahu in Squares
A few of my Digital Square Shots from Hawaii thus far. Shot a few rolls on the Hasselblad and some 35mm BW. Till then, enjoy these squares. The architecture/landscaping/color on Oahu lends really well to minimal shots.
and one of me and my lady =) since its a rare occasion for the photographer to actually like being in a shot himself =P

Damn Good Week!
I feel so lucky this week. I'm definitely working hard and staying busy but the payoffs have been amazing. Ended up getting my first StrangerCover Shot, featuring my portrait of Mike McGinn.
Been spending the rest of the week working as Still Photographer on set of Lynn Shelton's newest project since Hump Day (In Theaters across America Now) $5 Cover Seattle. The MTV Web Series is shot like a film and will feature an array of talented Seattle bands including my buddies The Maldives & The Moondoggies. Many more photos to come as production ends and the series comes closer to airing.
Before the week is over, Im skipping town again this weekend to have the honor of shooting one of my oldest friends Floyd Jones wedding in his hometown Hawaii. I've never traveled to any of the islands before and am so excited to finally see and experience the beauty that is Hawaii, and with my girl at that =) I hope next week is this wonderful...

Big Swinger 3000 Series
Took my Polaroid Big Swinger 3000 on the Americana Road Trip. I really am blown away at the quality this plastic camera produces. Especially with such high iso film. Super happy with the iconic vintage look of the final batch of shots during the trip. Here are some of my favs from the series.

Jason Molina Polaroid
Working with KEXP has given me such amazing opportunities to shoot and meet musicians I've really loved for years. Songs Ohia was my first introduction to Jason Molina around 6 years back. I was hooked. His solo records, Songs Ohia/magnolia electric co. releases are still constantly in my rotation. Jason was really friendly and pretty damn funny. If you're into singer songwriters/folk/alt-country & not familiar with his work, please give it a listen
