Mia Loomba Design
Its always cool to see people progress and moving forward with their goals in their own field. Mia Loomba reached out to me over a year ago about shooting her final outfits for her 2010 AIS Fashion Design Graduation. It was cool to shoot for someone who has followed my work the last few years and felt like it was the right fit for her own designs. Here is a few from the first half of our shoot. Worked with Giselle again who is always a pleasure and such a young talent.

Devendra Banhart
Had the extreme pleasure of shooting Mr. Devandra Banhart this afternoon. Ive been a fan of his music for quite awhile and had only briefly met him once before at bumbershoot 2 years ago. I hardly recognized him at first without the beard/hair but that voice could be none other than him. Refreshing meeting someone so humble, funny and polite.

Spring Laser Nature Shoot
As i mentioned in my last post, I shot the Look Book for the upcoming Spring line of Laser Nature from my Katie & her friends at Free Time Industries. The shoot was such a fun day and the location was something I am really proud of finding. Lake Alder near Mt. Ranier. It lent so well to the vibe and feeling of the pieces. Here are a few of my favorites. More posted on my My FLICKR Stay tuned for the final look book with more details on the jewelry pieces themselves.

Sunday Trip
Katie and I took a fun little daytrip yesterday. Exploring Deception Pass and doing some thrifting on the way. This photo of the bridge was my favorite viewpoint.
This camera is one of my better thrift finds recently. Found this bad boy for 11 dollars at a thrift store near Deception Pass in nearly mint condition (also included flash bulbs, a case, and manual). Upon researching it a little this morning, I found that it was Mamiyas first entry in the point and shoot market sold in the US via Sears (Tower 39 Model) in the 60's. Just loaded up a roll and cant wait to see the results.
