Night Shot (Photo Group..Week2)

Several photographer friends and I have started a weekly photo-group (name to be decided..) to stay motivated, creating fun shoots, etc.. The group has a weekly "assignment" as well as bigger monthly or bi-monthly projects. This last week's assignment was night shot. To be interpreted as you wish. Here is my photo. I decided to embrace the wet rainy Seattle streets. Using only street lamps and the reflective wet ground for lighting. Hasselblad 500C Polaroid. Fuji 3000B

Orangette

My favorite thing about shooting editorial portrait's so far is getting to meet new & interesting people and hopefully capturing their personality or passion using my own. I was assigned to shoot Molly of the Orangette Blog for Seattle Magazine. Upon doing a little research on her blog, I learned its popular not only for her writing but for two of my loves; FOOD & Polaroid Photography. The shoot was super fun! The June Issue is out now with her feature (Online Version HERE ) so I wanted to give her a little plug on my blog.
Check her out and if you're in Seattle, stay tuned for her and her husbands upcoming Wood Fired Specialty Restaurant coming soon to Ballard.
